Another in my Calla Lily high key series. These three lillies are just begining to open.

This is the first in a High Key series of Calla Lillies. This single Lily is nearly invisible only the careful eye will enjoy it's elegance.

This was shot in subdued with a black backdrop using a 2-8 stop Vari-ND Filter from Singh-ray Fliters. The lily was light painted from the inside only with a 47 second exposure ISO 50, f/19. With the filter at max density I was able to control the ambient light and keep the background isoliated. Workflow included Nik Software Color Efex Pro 3.0 Polaroid Transfer and a brush-in layer using Reflector Effects.

Sometimes, in life, things just seem to happen in a blur.
